depressed - constant stomach ache
Hi - this is the first time I have written girls and any help is warmly received. I am post op for total ab hysterectomy, now at four weeks. For the last two weeks I have had a constant stomach ache and this is really making me depressed and anxious. I am seeing my local doctor tomorrow - I don't know if this is normal. I am just getting over a drug allergy where I came out in blisters and hives so my emotional state is very fragile. I have had everything removed including my appendix for severe endo. Any support appreciated. Thanks sisters!

depressed - constant stomach ache
Well, I know I'm probably too new post-op to comment (last Tuesday) but the post-op recovery symptoms that have effected me the most are the stomach-related problems. I am queazy, dizzy, nauseaus, have gas pains, indigestion, and can't seem to tolerate a number of foods. I think if my stomach would settle down, I'd feel so much better. I can only imagine that your allergic reaction only added to these complications. Awwww.... hang in there

appreciate support
Thank you so much for your reply - I am hanging in but it is a tougher journery than I thought. I had all your symptoms too post op for the first few days - they do settle but it is unpleasant for the time. Just take it really easy - I think I may have overdone it! All peace and good wishes to you!
