I think I'm going to postpone

I "planned" on this for next summer. My body decided that this is the summer. I will miss the first month of school, I am a preschool aide. All the things I planned on doing for my summer have been stopped. First week too week from blood loss, second week sciacia nerve caused great pain. Then another week of back pain. Then we have surgery and 5 days after parents come for a vacation.
There is no good time. Planning doesn't work either.

Who hasn't thought about postphoneing their surgery but I think you have to do what works for you and your health. If your having health related issues you may want to get it over with. If you can wait and not cause complications then do what you need to do.

As for the in/out..I think that is just a "term" that they use but I think if you ask you will find that you will have an over night in the hospital. I had the TAH and spent one night in the hospital and they had me up and walking before 24 hrs. It's very doable!

I'm finding my recovery to be so much easier then I expected, though not everyone is as fortunet. Don't be scared, be smart. Do what is best for you and listen to your doctor's advise!
