Explanation of cyst dimensions in pathology report?

I recently reread my pathology report from surgery last year. Math was never my best subject. Can someone explain in what order the three dimensions of a cyst are given? For example: 10 x 6 x 5 cm. Which is width, length, etc.?

And when there are only two dimensions listed in a report, like 6 x 5 cm, does that refer to width and length only?

I didn't think about asking my doctor at post-op appointments. I hope someone can clarify this for me. Thanks!

You are correct when 2 dimensions are given it's height & width or length and width. So think of 8.5 x 11 in sheet of paper, first number is width, second number is length and in your case 3rd number is depth.
