migraine headaches week 13postop

Hi sisters I am having some major migraine headaches this week. I haven't ever had one until now. I had a complete hysterectomy on april 10, I am on the vivelle dot patch 0.1mg and vaginal estogen lowest dose twice aweek for dry/vaginal discomfort. So is this a normal menapause thing or do I need to go talk with my dr about getting my levels checked? Nothing over the counter is heloping the headache.

You should get your levels checked. It sounds to me like you have too much estrogen or you are getting a surge of estrogen causing the migraines. Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks Molly50. I was thinking maybe I am not getting enough estrogen, hmm I guess I need to put a call in to the dr and get it checked.

Have you done or taken anything new? I had terrible fibromyalgia pain that started on day 24 post op. Last night I finally realized that on day 23 was when I started drinking Magnesium Fizz Calm at the suggestion of my doctor for help with BM's. Sure enough. Quit the magnesium & feel much better today.

No nothing new taken.
I only take
One a day menapause formula
Bcomplex
And the vivelle dot patch
I think I am going to have to call the dr tomorrow over the counter won't touch this headache.
