Re: Hello To All

It's awesome to be able to chat to ladies who are going through the same thing as we are! It definitely makes sense Suz, as you'll feel more supported. I don't have a binder, so when I walk I hold my stomach and then people think I'm pregnant!!! Not cool as I had just reached my goal weight for my 40th birthday and 3 days later had my surgery!!

I had a much better day today, few cramps here and there, but not as long or severe as last week. Went to the mall, was dropped off for some alone time shopping, found a pair of pants that dont hurt my tummy managed to do 20minutes ironing too, DH put out ironing board so I didn't have to lift anything. Felt somewhat normal for the first time in weeks. All good

Keep healing. Hugs

Re: Hello To All

I actually bought loose clothes, some maternity, so I wouldn't look pregnant. I found a few shirts that can be worn with a loose belt, so they don't look like maternity tops.

Re: Hello To All

I too lost some weight and tried to strengthen my core before my surgery. I wanted to try to do anything I could to help beforehand. I also wanted to have control over something in my body. I felt I had no control over all the pain the endo and adeno were causing. I wanted to focus on something else.
I'm glad you were able to have some time to yourself and go shopping. How did you do at the mall?
I'm entering my third week and it's been painful and uncomfortable as well, which seems strange considering the first 2 weeks were better!

hi Suz, the mall was fine, didn't spend too much time there, and my DH met me for coffee and carried bags to car for me. The 3rd week was sooo bad, but I'm feeling way better now, went for a full body massage yesterday even managed to lie on my tum! Really feel like I've turned a corner. Also driving short distances as of Thurs (4 weeks) I still rest a lot in between doing things, and not doing any housework yet, aside from wiping the odd counter and making my bed, oh and folding laundry. Yay getting there hugs
