burn from bladder neck suspension

I had a hysterectomy and bladder neck suspension 1 1/2 weeks ago. Dr. burned my labia. Has anyone else had this problem? If so how long does it take this to heal? Peeing is a horror. He did call in a Rx to help eliviate that issue but gee whiz this is driving me nuts and I feel like I don't have far to go. :hair:

Hi there, sorry to hear about your burn. My doc burned my labia when I had a laser excision of the vagina, and it was pretty much completely healed in a week. I was given silvadine cream to take home from the hospital, it works wonders! I think healing time would depend on how many layers are involved in the burn, and I do suggest the silvadine (may be spelled wrong) if you aren't already using it. I have used it since my surgery for other small burns and am always amazed at how well it works. I hope you are better soon!
