7 weeks post hysterectomy - possible popped internal stitch

Hello ladies,

I am 7 wks to the day post op. I had a total abdominal hysterectomy. Ovaries, tubes, uterus and cervix removed. This evening I was laying back and sat up a little fast and felt a pop in my abdomen. A sharp pop on the right side of my incision. It was a little painful and stung a little and tingling a little. Maybe 2/10 pain level. I have a small bump on that side but my doctor check it out said I just have built up a little more scar tissue on that side and it was fine.

With all that said is it possible that maybe the stitch under that scar tissue lasted a little longer and just popped? It’s been about 30 mins and it’s just a little ache with movement and tingling. What do ya’ll think?

I had same. Tah/bso. Yesterday at 7 weeks my doc told me I was completely healed. Stitches dissolved.
