stabbing/cramping pains 12 days post LAVH and BSO

Hi.. I'm 12 days post from a LAVH and a BSO (took both my ovaries). The reason I had this was because of painful menstruation, irregular bleeding, and PMDD. I've been having these painful and I mean PAINFUL cramps that come and go, like a stabbing pain. It almost feels like someone is stabbing me with my tummy all the way to the end of my spinal cord and just digging around. There are some times they hurt so bad that I just want to scream and have brought me to tears several times. They even happen at night. I can't find a comfortable position to sleep at night because of them. The BMs are the worse too. It's like when my bowels start moving, I will just double over in cramps. I was wondering if anyone else was having this and what they are doing for it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

(((rose_bud))) you really need to call your DR's office asap. Severe cramps that make you double over are not a normal part of recovery, and your DR needs to know you are experiencing this.

Please let us know what the DR says, OK? I hope it's nothing serious.
