He drew a line from pubis to navel and he said if the biopsy was positive for cancer he would skirt around the navel and cut up vertically, higher. Can't find documentation that shows this kind of incision.
Hi before I had my op one surgeon said he would use a vertical cut and as you I have had a c section so wanted the cut the same as I said to him I do not want a bum on my belly as I'm not really over wait but I'm not really thin either as I wasn't to happy with what he said I asked to be referred to another consultant , I did see a different consultant who said yes he would go just above my c section scar of which he did last Wednesday evening ( 6/3/13) I have all sorts of emotions at the moment but at least my scar is where I wanted it , so please ask again.

Yoga pants are the best - the soft tops are great! I don't like any kind of band across my tummy because it is so tender, I found wearing a skirt with simple leggings under it works okay for me, too (leggings waste bands are usually higher - I think tights or hose would not be comfortable.)
