how long was your stay?

I had my TAV Fri and was home Sun by 2:00 pm. The only complaint I have is I was only on the morphine pump for 2 hrs before discharge...pain was a lot worse with just the Ty 3's. I may have considered staying an extra day if I had know?

TAH/BSO (vertical cut) on Wednesday at 7:45 a.m., left castle on Saturday at 8:00 a.m.

I had a planned LSH (outpatient - less than a 23 hour stay) - ended up SAH (49 hours from the time I checked in - I left).

Had my TAH/BSO on a Monday at 8:00 and left the following Wednedsay about 1:30. I had no complications. Christy

Overnight. after an 8 hr long surgery with my legs up in stirrups for 6 1/2 hrs---that alone means I should have stayed longer IMHO because of blood pooling and being under so long.Please read my signature to see what was done and some of the complications. It's been a nightmare. Everytime I think I'm better something else happens.
I'm quite jealous of all who had it better.

Went in Tuesday @ 6 am
Surgury was @ 7:30 am
Sent home on Wed. @ 6 pm after I had ate and kept it down,peed on my own and walked the hospital floors to the equivalent of 2 blocks

I had surgery Friday morning & left Saturday morning - thanks to a great obgyn. Too many germs in hospitals for me stay any longer!

Crikey, OVER NIGHT. They would have had to carry me out!!. I had a TAH/BSO on a Friday and went home the following Tuesday.

I went in on a Tuesday morning and went home on a Friday Morning....I went home with a catheter in for a week! Not a pleasant experience I might add!
