Robotic hyst. With removal of ovary and tube

Friday I will have a robotic assisted hyst with removal of uterus, right ovary, and Fallopian tube. While I'm still under they will test the ovary (shows a large cyst) to see if cancerous. If so, they will remove the left ovary and tube, as well as lymph nodes. Scared beyond belief, but knw I'm in good hands.

I had the exact same sone but my left ovary was removed and right tested. It came in benign and the 11 cm cyst removed. Trust me you'll feel better. Just don't over do it. You'll start to feel pretty good, but keep laying on the couch and pampering yourself. The inside still needs that time to heal. Best of luck

I had dVH total a week ago. The first week remember to rest, rest, rest! Pamper yourself and follow the post op instructions given to you. You might not have as much incision pain because of the robot but the inside still needs to heal just like everyone else. Best wishes for a benign outcome!
