bubbly urine

I am now 5 weeks post op from tah/bso. Since surgery, I have had bubbles in my urine. More accurately, there are bubbles on the water surface in the toilet when I urinate. I do sometimes go forcefully but no more than pre-surgery. I mentioned it to my doc at my 3 week visit and she had never heard of that. I also seem to have to go frequently (including at night) and am in discomfort if I do not go right away.

Are these issues unique to me?

Re: bubbly urine

Dianne,
Although I have had frequency issues, I have not experienced bubbly urine. Perhaps you should consult with a urologist, someone who is more knowledgeable about urine issues.

Re: bubbly urine

Are you using any type of vaginal creme? This will cause urine to be bubbly. This is due to fluid leaking from vagina. Mine does this when I use the Estrace Creme.

Re: bubbly urine

If your urine is foamy, you might have the beginning of a UTI. If you experience burning, it's a fairly sure bet. If so call your doc.
