Cramps 6 months post-op?
I'm now just over 6 months post-op and overall feel better but I'm starting to have pretty significant cramps. What on earth could cause cramps since I don't have the obvious parts?? Sometimes I have intestinal cramps but these don't feel anything like that. Any suggestions??

Cramps 6 months post-op?
There can be many reasons for cramps unfortunately! Mine can be from IBS for sure! Also adhesions or endometriosis could be the culprit along with muscular and skeletal issues.
I would suggest keeping a symptom journal. Besides keeping track of your pain, I would also suggest keeping a record of what you are eating and drinking in case something in your diet is causing problems. Also keep records of any exercises you may be doing. Then share the journal with your doctor to see if s/he has some suggestions about what might be going on and how you can treat the cramps.
Sending lots of s your way! Take care!

Cramps 6 months post-op?
I started having some weird cramping at 6 mos, ended up having a urinary tract infection and bladder spasms. Eventually saw a urologist and started taking medication for an overactive bladder which helped tremendously.
