bleeding

lynnspeak~ My doc said that a bit of bleeding on and off could be normal when the stitches were disolving from the vaginal cuff. She also said that as long as it wasn't bright red blood - could indicate a fresh tear in the stitch area - that it was probably not a problem. I had some spotting up until day 17, and the last couple of those days, it would go back and forth between no bleeding at all to a pink tinged discharge. She said that the stitches would disolve completely between 3-4 weeks, most likely, and although you are only 18 days out, it's certainly possible that yours are coming out a bit early and that may be why you are having some spotting now. If it continues, I would def call your doc!!!
good luck!!

bleeding

I didn't bleed until after the 7th day post-op and then bled every day for 7 more days thereafter. I just stopped yesterday and hopefully, I won't start up again. My blood ranged from a light red and then these past few days it's been a brown color - so it must be old blood coming out. My doctor said this was normal.
