Would this upset you?

Would it upset you if someone said "this is why god is not letting you have children"?

I was not upset at all when I was told that I needed the hyst since I was not sure if I wanted kids anyway - but I think that it is kind of rude anyway.

Yes that is very rude..some people don't think before they speak.

I can't believe any one could say something so mean. But like stormie1962 said people don't always think before they speak. Very rude!!!

OMG how rude. I hope it wasn't a family member that said anything. You know in your heart what is right for you, don't listen to them. I have a sister that didn't think before she spoke to me. I had a miscarriage and she asked me to be her babies God Mother because she conceived on my due date. She thought it meant something. Only to her. I was upset with her for quite sometime, but then just chalked it up to ignorance of my situation.

I wouldn't be upset, but it is rude. I always find it intereting when people assume it is their place to tell you what God is thinking. I wonder how they know? Maybe she should look closer at how God is judging her choices?

Gosh, it's people like that who give Christians a bad name. If it comes up again, I'd say something like, "Ooh! You know...since you know what God is thinking, could you tell me if I should consider a career change?" Maybe that will stop her from saying something so hurtful to someone else.

Your post reminds me of when my daughter was born 2 mo early and had many medical problems and my mom of all people told me it was God's way of punishing my husband and I for not going to church! I wont put in what I said back to her as it would offend a number of people im sure. People are so rude and ignorant!

That was extremely rude and insentitive.
If someone said that to me, I'd probably cry.
As the other sisters have mentioned, ignore it.
This person is obviously ignorant, insensitive and selfish.
