3 days post op

i had a LAVH on jan 19th. I went in at 6am. By the way i was bleeding the when i went in for surgery. I guess i should start by saying that my main complain was heavy bleeding all the time, and cramping from what my doctor said was a result of a very large fibroid. I was taken back to the operating room where they put me under. i remember coming to and feeling good just drowsy. I was taken to my room, had a little cramping.(very little). i had no other pain. . Didnt even use any medication. Got to get out of bed at 6am walked around the halls. Feeling really good. (by the way the bleeding had stopped completly). My doctor told me that the fibroid was very big but everything went well. and i could go home.The only problems i had was bad gas the first day, but that went away by using gas x, and eating, so i could get something in my stomach. Im feeling really good taking it easy, relaxing. The worst part was all the worrying prior to surgery. Hystersisters be strong and i will pray for everyone else to have a good and easy surgery-recovery as it has been for me. Thanks for all the good wishes and prayers.

The worry was the worst part for me too. I'll be on day 3 tomorrow. I hope my day three will be as pleasant as yours seems to be!
