Weird Uterine Texture

I had an LSH yesterday after suffering with fibroids for 7 years.

My doctor mentioned that my uterus was really odd and squishy. She said that every time she grabbed it to cut it, it just fell apart. She ended up taking much more of my cervix than planned for this reason.

Does anyone know why a uterus would rip and tear like that? I asked her if she thought it was due to childbearing (I have 5 kiddos, most recent is 3 months old) and she said she did not think so.

I don't know how my uterus was when they took it out, but have they mentioned the possibility of Adenomyosis? I dont know if it would cause that though. There are probably other conditions that can cause the uterus to do that, I hope someone here has a good answer for you. The pathology report would definitely clear it up though!

my dr described my uterus similarly, spongy and squishy. pathology reports confirmed adenomyosis. so that is likely the reason!
