12 days out and spotting

Had surgery 12 days ago. At 5 days, felt burning. Was a uti from catheter. Felt better Fri and Sat. Last night my back began hurting (though it's not now) and began burning again. Today has been no better. Just now when I peed, I am spotting a tiny bit with some white discharge. Have had no bleeding at all till this. Cervix was left intact. There are no stitches inside the vagina. I go to my 2-week apt on Wed. My doctor is not there on Mon or Tues and I want to see her. Last week I saw the PA. Am I OK to wait till Wed morning?

Is it time for your period? If you still have your cervix, you could have "mini periods" since the endometrium comes down into the cervix. You can always call the office to see if they feel you need to be seen sooner.

No, I was having post-menopausal bleeding for about a year before this. No period in about 8 years before that.
