dVH/RALH 6 months post op today!

It has been six months today since I had my davinci hysterectomy! I am back to normal again and am really glad I had the surgery!!! I can still get some discomfort in my lower left groin but it is only when I am gassy. Everything else is good. Sex is great, I only have the occasional hot flash at night but I can deal with that. I am still taking 2mg of Estridiol every day. I have had recently had issues with my thyroid being out of wack and am working to get it back on track. I still take ambien at night to sleep but that has nothing to do with the surgery I was having insomnia before surgery. I am just glad I had it done and I am done with all the pain from the endo and cysts!!! So there is hope for all of you that have just had surgery!!!!

I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism (underactive) and am now taking 5mg of synthroid daily. What was your diagnosis?

I have been Hypothyroid since i was 15. I am now 38 so I have had it for a long time. I was stable taking 112mcg of levothyroxin every day. Well somehow the pharmacy messed up and gave me 150mcg and I didn't think nothing of it. I didn't even notice. Well I was in the process of losing weight and such and it was really easy to lose weight. I go in every three months to have my thyroid checked and stuff. I went and had blood drawn and my thyroid was way high. So he dropped me down to 75 mcg thinking I was on 112mcg. Well now it is way too low and I just started taking my 112mcg again today so hopefully I will stabilize back out!! When I was originally diagnosed back in high school my neck swelled up(goiter) and that is when I got diagnosed!
