How to start the process

Ok....so I am new to this whole thing & just received options from my doctor....Depo, birth control or hysterectomy. I think a hysterectomy is the way I am going, but now I don't know what the next step is. I am sure that I need to contact him & advise him, but I don't know if I need to wait a few days to do so or schedule an apt ASAP and begin.....I am nervous because where I work we are short staffed as it is but I know that my health comes first.

I would go ahead and call him and let him know so he can get the ball rolling. I had to wait 3 weeks from my decision appointment to surgery. He also needs to set up your pre-op appointments which can have a wait also. So if you're sure I would get the ball rolling.
