Well I have to be there in 9 hours and it hit me HARD!!!!!!!
as soon as I said good night to my boys shut their doors I started to cry!!!! and cried for an hour.I cant help but think what if I dont wake up??They need me I dont want to miss out on anything I know thats silly but I tell everyone else "you WILL be fine" why cant I listen to myself!!!!!!!!! OMG im starting to cry again .I dont even have my bag packet yet.
I dont think I am going to be able to sleep tonight

Sorry everyone I just needed to get that out

I understand where you are coming from. I am 3 weeks post op, and had the same issue when I yucked my kids in bed. This was my 9th abdominal surgery, so I knew I would wake up, but there was something about the finality of it all that was scary. I know you will come through fine and look forward to seeing you on the other side. Best of luck and let us know how you do!

My boyfriend finally admitted he felt the same fears you are saying and it hit me too. It is scary going in for surgery but you will be allright just like so many sisters on this site and those who are not on here but went through it to.

And WOW everyone was 100% the wait is the worst part.I got out on wednesday and I have no pain at all im not even taking any meds !!!........ the only part that hurt any was when they removed the packing man did that hurt but now it all good and I have to remind myself not to do anything .But I do do alot of walking around the block 2 times a day .
just remember everyone who still needs to do it ITS NOT THAT BAD
