bleeding and cramping without apparent cause

Ladies, I've found a wonderful site that explains why some of us can have heavy bleeding and cramping and yet everything looks normal. Here is the link:
http://www.endometriosistreatment.or...enomyosis.html

It starts out explaining about adenomyosis, but read on. It iis an explanation for those of us whose tests show everything appears normal, yet we have heavy bleeding and terrible cramps.

Thank You

thank you so much for shareing that article. I'm having a hysterectomy for "chronic pelvic pain...cause unknown" It's extremely frustrating, but I have always been convinced that the pain came from my uterus...therefore taking it out would help...I hope this is true and I will feel much better in a few weeks

bleeding and cramping without apparent cause

Thank you so much for that article. It was like reading about my problems. I'm scheduled for a TAH June 5 and will not be surprised if they find I have adenomyosis. Everything that they say in this article is everything I have been experiencing over the last 3 years. It will be really interesting to see what my pathology comes back with.

bleeding and cramping without apparent cause

You are very welcome, ladies. It really spoke to me. I had heavy bleeding, anemia, clots, and cramps that I had told my doctor were like labour pains, only not in waves-one big long one. Anyway, ultrasound came back saying that everything looked normal-diagnosis: dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Had my hysterectomy and the surgeon came in the next morning and said that everything looked normal, including my uterus. So I'm sitting there thinking Why? Was I crazy? a big baby? Why? I mean, you know how your periods were and you know you couldn't take any more and you did the right thing, but when things look apparently normal, a teeny corner of your mind questions. This article put things into perspective for me (I'm still waiting for the pathology report) and I figured I just can't be the only one. I'm glad I've helped.
