TLH 5 days post hysterectomy: pain is worse, no appetite and nauseated

Hi. Sorry you are going through this. I am 12 days post robotic full hysterectomy with ovaries removed. I had the same issues with the bladder, constipation, nausea and pain. The bladder got better a few days ago, especially after I finally had a bm...which was about day 6 or 7. I am still going more often then ever before but it's a complete steady stream now. I had prescription dulcolax and added Miralax. The nausea was bad so I took dramamine and upped my fluid intake. The dehydration definitely makes nausea worse. But the fever is concerning. I've had a mild one (99.5) off and on. I am still very much dealing with nausea and dizzy but day 9 is when I felt much better...not great but better.

Hopefully yours will be better quick!

I had the WORST constipation pains for 2 full hours on Friday (it was horrific)...so I ate prunes, drinking water, and was walking around. I also take digestive enzymes, so had some of those...but let me tell you it was like giving birth thru the XXX....OMG...my cousin mentioned buying some Senokot (over the counter vegetable based laxative). It really helped me today....

My fibroid was stuck in my intestines I guess so they are figuring out what to do as am I.

Then the Gas was horrendous...so am taking Gas X now too.

This part is not much fun in the recovery...even though I feel pretty good overall...

I hope hopelessness returns with an update. I'm worried. Her fever, in particular.
I have no real changes to report. Since I had a bm yesterday, I've had 3 since. However, I deal with IBS on the side of diarrhea that it seems normal. My belly has turned very bruised from each incision point. I fe'll asleep while reading this morning. I'm achy too and belly is swollen.
I'm probably still doing a bit too much than I should. I am walking around my house and on my deck. I decided to take on making breakfast and did okay.
Two problems or issues is my bladder. It's non stop and feels irritated.
Also, I'm taking narcotic pain meds when necessary, not a morphine drip or every four hour pills in hospital.
I take a med nightly for anxiety and sleep, told to keep taking along with meds.
I sleep 2 hrs, wake up, same cycle over and over.
I was up and out of bed by 7a.m.. You'd think I'd be in deep slumber. The pain catches up as day goes on. My boyfriend said something that seems true, I rest more when I'm alone vs. people in the house, etc.
I feel like I'm supposed to be grieving. I was prior to surgery but now I feel cold. I'm angry at bit underneath.
I thought I'd grieve. I have organs missing that made my life miserable but also feel like a woman.

I hope you feel better soon. I just take it one day at a time....I had a lot of anger as well in the hospital towards the end of my stay because mostly I felt people did not understand what I had gone thru. I did some energy work around this issue prior to surgery and think it helped me a bit. I know I carried a lot of wounding in my womb for sure thru out the years.

I'm feeling the same way. First couple days I was ok but not I'm feeling like crap!!!
