I'm Home and new Princess

Hello Ladies,

I just wanted to stop in and let you all know that I am home and the waiting is over! I was able to keep both of my ovaries, which I have mixed feelings about. I thought that one and possibly both were going. I am glad that I will not have to go on hormones, but hope that the cysts stay gone. My surgery went well, and now I am sore but feeling better every minute. Thank you all sooo... much for all of your support! I will be back when I am feeling more up to it. For now, I am going to go and rest a while. I will see you all again soon.

Hope

Welcome home!
Hope your recovery goes well. I understand the mixed feelings about your ovaries. My Dr. is planning on keeping my ovaries as well, but she may need to remove them during surgery. I haven't been through surgery yet, and I'm sure I won't want to go through another down the road. But having the hormones is a good thing (I suffer with Migraines because of those darn hormones) but I'll trade painfull, heavy bleeding periods for a Migraine or two during the month.
Take care of yourself.
