My castle story

Good evening, LIW's and Princesses

I was asked to post a link to my castle story, I think to give everyone some more comedic relief!!

It has been pointed out to me that I have had an extremely lucky and good experience with my castle, my doc, my surgery, and (so far!!) my recovery, and I am not trying to hurt the feelings of ANYONE who didn't have such a good experience. I'm truly sorry that everyone who has had to face this didn't get such caring and supportive nurses, docs, etc. I do wish all the LIW's to have it if possible, though. I hope it might also give you some idea of things to prepare for even in the best of circumstances. Please feel free to PM or e-mail me if you have, as my math teacher at college used to say every day when going over homework, "Questions, comments, and sarcastic responses?"

Enjoyed your castle novella!! I am so glad things went so well for you.

I just had to comment on the "beard" issue. I too could get work in a circus side show if I did not shave, pluck, electrolysis, you name it. I have told my 23 yr old daughter in no uncertain terms that if I am ever unconcious or in a coma, she had better come and get rid of my 5 O'clock shadow for me, before I am accused of being a transvestite!!
