The upswing on the nerves has begun again

After being cancelled with less than 24 hours notice last week, I am now less than two days off my surgery again. My edginess and short fuse are kicking in again. Now of course it is topped off with a sense of disbelief as well because I have convinced myself they will cancel me again. I just want to scream and run away. Like that will help.

No wonder you are feeling an upswing, especially after having your last date canceled. This is like double the nerves....waiting twice.

you are not alone in the 2nd waiting period cause i too am waiting on my 2nd date i think this time around has been the worst wait i was rescheduled my 1st date was 6/8/12 now my new date is 6/29/12 hang in there its not much longer i finally got my heart clearance so i am thinking it will be a go but will find out forsure tomorrow morning at per op keep us posted and see you on the other side soon

Thanks, ladies. It's nice to know I am not insane. Or maybe not THAT insane. Cuddle, I shall cross everything for your second date too. Naturally I will keep posting. The support I have received here has been invaluable and I would like to be able to give something back come the other side.

Okay so today I am worried about the possibility of my surgery being cancelled again AND worried that it won't be. My girlfriend called me to check up on her "loony" friend. She's been such a support. We decided I need a Tardis to get to the other side. I replied that I could use a "blue box" right now, paused then cracked up laughing when I realised what I had said.

Yep. Totally loony.

I am with you as I went to Preop yesterday. I have been exhausted and anxious every since. I sat in the hospital cafe saying to my husband "are you sure this is the right thing to do?, maybe I should wait, what if I have to have 2 surgeries in stead of one?" He just looked exasperated! I could run at any minute and head west! You'll see me running down the highway. I have short dark hair and usually wear bright colors.

You may well find me running down the highway next to you. I will probably be second guessing myself right up until they knock me out.

I have short dark hair, which I dyed purple this morning (pampering the princess) and am currently in my pyjamas. Can't seem to get out of them lately.

I am nervous too I go in tomorrow at noon for my surgery. Trying not to think about it watching 21 Jump Street which is a pretty funny movie and reading stuff on here. Hope everyone does well on their surgeries and our nerves calm down.

LOL! Purple is my favorite color! I got my toesnails done and a pedicure for the occasion. I may get a haircut tomorrow. I am trying to distract myself. I sent my DH out for a backyard swing to swing on. I need something to look forward to. I'll look for you on the freeway!
