Fibroids, adenomyosis, polyps explained

I found this really great site that explains very clear cut information (with drawings, if you are a visual learner like me) on fibroids, and somewhat on adenomyosis and polyps also. The address is:

http://www.fibroids.net/html/frameset.htm

And it is sponsored by a branch of Harvard Medical School.

I plan to take these photos with me to the drs office and say "show me exactly where the fibroids are, how big they are, and where you plan to cut me". I found visualization to be a big help with pain relief during childbirth (all 3 natural) and hope to use this technique (along with major drugs) for a hyster. if I have to end up with one.

HUGE DUHHHHHH ON MY PART!!!

So I have been using this site for over 2 weeks and had never seen the wonderful "Resource Section"??? How in the heck did I miss this forum?

Anyway disregard my puny little link because the Sisters before me have it all figured out. Just consider it more knowledge, which one can never have enough.

And thanks hystersisters for all your legwork.

Hi Lisa! Thanks for bringing us this link... I've submitted it to Resources for you so it'll be available to other members long after this thread drops off the first page in the forum.

If you run across any other links you feel are especially useful, please feel free to submit them to Resources. All you have to do is click on Resources up at the top of the page; then at the upper right, click on 'submit new resource'. When the next page opens, insert a title for the resource, the url, and select which section you think it should be in. Then you can either submit a brief description of the resource or leave that section blank, and click on submit at the bottom.

Kudos to you for doing your research. Good luck with whatever you decide to do!
s,
-Linda
