Calling all Sisters! Let's lose 20 pounds!

Count me in too! I don't need to lose 20 but I would like to lose 10-12. I'm 5'4 and currently at 146.8. This is the motivation I needed. My darn pants are too tight. Lol

I just read a thread and replies from sisters saying the weight keeps coming and theres nothing to help.:-( they say they eat right and exercise but the weight keep creeping up. This is depressing. So how are ladies going to that would help others lose the weight? There are sisters that feel hopeless and are starting to think they must accept the weight gain after having surgery. I tell you this.... I Will Not Accept the weight gain!

36 years, old 5'1" and 171 lb, 1 week post op TVH (due to endometriosis) I would like to loose at least 30 lbs, I definately need the support I have a had a hard time loosing the weight and now its slow.

Needing to lose 40 lbs but will start with 20. Weigh in is 200 lbs 5'5". I am in process of being referred for a hysterectomy but don't know what kind, how much, etc. Yet. Looking to schedule it end of July so would like to get a little fit before going in. Ideas and encouragement welcome.

Track everything you eat in a day including the quantities , you'll find that you consume more than you thought and that is a good reason for not losing weight. Tracking is something I learned with weight watchers. If you really want to lose weight you should not take breaks from the diet over a specific time. That is set a specific goal and commit to it. For example, 7 or 10 continuous days of proper dieting. If you consume less calories than you burn you will lose weight , period.
Ask yourself how much do you want it, are you worth it? Of course you are!!
I'm 5'4" currently 139 pounds, I lost 10 after hysterectomy by following weight watchers, could not exercise.

Yes, me too!! This November will make 2 yrs since surgery, total hysterectomy. I lost about 15 Pds on weight watchers but couldn't afford to keep it up right now with three kids 11, 15, & almost 17!!! I have gained a little, and can't seem to budge it on my own!!!! before surgery I could lose weight by making simple changes, not now!! I have been on estradiol patch .05, for over a year now, considering quitting it! Would love to lose weight, count me in
