LSH Calling all LSH Sisters- I need encouragement

I had my LSH on 12/5/13. I was feeling great- fantastic even until this past week. I started spotting again and I figured it was probably cyclical as in the mini period (aka evil stepsister of the regular period). I also was diagnosed with a kidney infection this week just to add insult to injury. I went to the gyn last Thursday and she told me the cervix was fragile and looked like it wanted to bleed. She didn't feel it was cyclical and she did the silver nitrate application. Bleeding has tapered but I'm still spotting. This is the first time since surgery that I've questioned keeping the cervix wishing maybe I hadn't. I would really like to hear from other women who had bleeding or a cervix that experienced troublesome healing and how you are 6 mo post op and beyond. I'm also experiencing hot flashes and other menopausal symptoms for the first time since surgery. Anyone else fine and then at 8 weeks everything went to hell in a hand basket?
