Sharp burning pain

I have been having that recently on my left side. In that "hollow" area just inside my hip/pelvic bone area. It isn't on or under my incision, it is more left of where the incision is. It started with just the skin having the burning sensation but now I feel it deep within. It happens if I move a certain way, or move too quickly or God forbid sneeze (ouch). I hate after a surgery not knowing what is normal to be feeling and what i should be concerned about.

Sharp burning pain

When you move does it feel like something inside is being pulled? If so-I had that feeling too and it did hurt but my Dr. said that was the number 1 complaint after a hysterectomy. I would definatley call your Dr. to find out. I hope it feels better soon.

Sharp burning pain

I was fine until I went and pushed a shopping cart - then I got that pain and it nailed me to one spot and I couldn't move.
It took about 2 weeks to go away, but it still hit once in a while for about another month.
My doc was only question was if the pain was right after surgery, when I told her it was about a month after she wasn't concerned, but it never hurts to check with your own doc.

Sharp burning pain

I was doing so well until the last 4 days and have the same horrible burning pain. Left of the incision and left of belly button burns and stops me in my tracks. I see my DR on Tuesday 10th so maybe I will find out if this is a normal part of the process. Hope you are feeling better

r.e Sharp, burning pain

I have been having significant pain also. I am supposed to see my doctor tomorrow (4/9), thank goodness. I had a problem about a month ago, but then it began to improve after I stayed off my feet a bit. This weekend, my son and I had lunch and then went to a bookstore; as I was checking out, I broke out in a sweat, felt like I was going to have an accident (#2) right then and there! Driving home, I was sweating and felt like I was having contractions! I had a bm, and it wasn't really painful but ever since, I' ve had that stabbing, piercing pain. It is right around the incision site and below. Any ideas? Thanks! :wowee:

Sharp burning pain

My Dr. said I pulled a muscle. Sneezing, a BM, or picking up something we still should not be lifting are likely causes. I think that mine was from pulling a wet bath towel from washing machine! Although I felt like superwoman this set back made me realize I have to slow down even though I am 4 weeks post op. Dr said Motrin every 4 to 6 hours and moist heat - seems to be helping a lot - but getting a nights sleep is still impossible. Hope you are feeling better every day!
Take care of yourself!!!
