Well it's official

Pre op is completed....
I hope the vampires are satisfied with the amount of blood they drew~DANG it was 6 vials~
No burning questions for the Dr. just when will it be done.
No morphine pump for me just IV pain relief.
Hubbz will manage to be off the road and at my bedside. WOOHOO!
Parents will travel 1400 miles to care for me for a couple of weeks.
All should go as planned.
*crosses her fingers and toes*
I must admit I'm nervous and excited.
I really want this done but I'm so scared all at the same time.
It's the usual fears, what if something goes wrong how will it affect my kids and hubbz, what if I don't wake up, what if they damage my bladder or bowel, yadda, yadda, yadda if ya know what I mean.
I am kinda afraid to put all my fears in writing cause it will make them more real.

Well it will all be over in a few days...just 6 more sleeps till H-Day!

The waiting is the worst darlin! TRY to do things that will occupy your mind and put your faith in the doctor doing the procedure, they wouldn't go through with this if you weren't fit enough! Everything will be fine s ,, see you on the BETTER side

Your date is coming up soon. I had all the same fears before my surgery. I made it through just fine. It is scary though. You'll make it and you'll be feeling much better after you recover. I'm so happy your husband can be there for you and that your parents will be there to help after your surgery. You will need it! Take care

You're almost there! I had the same fears before I went. Especially of not waking up from the anesthesia.
Relax and don't stress. I know, easier said than done! The waiting is REALLY the hardest part.
You'll be fine! I'll keep you in my prayers.

Blessings-

I have the same fears about not waking up after the surgery....but I picture my Lord bent over my surgeons shoulder, watching and whispering into her ear all His perfect instructions. Just knowing He'll be right there in the OR with me, brings me Peace and calms my soul.

Much love,

Mich
