Hang in there, not only are your hormones out of wack, but even 10 days after your op you are still getting over the anastaetic.

I had a TAH (22nd Nov) with everything removed and even with patches as soon as I came home, I went through days of feeling very depressed.

Speak to your doctor, you are not the only person to feel like this.

Hope you are feeling better soon.

Funnily enough I had a near nervous breakdown today when hubby pointed out I hadn't addressed one of my Christmas cards correctly!!

I started listing all the things I was doing and trying to do and what a busy time of year it was etc etc and wanted to scream and cry...poor bloke he's been brilliant!!

I still have my ovaries so goodness knows what I might be like if I didn't , though I know they may pack up temporarily!! YIKES!!

You are not alone and you will get through it

Hugs x x x

fuzzy12,

So sorry you are feeling this way. You have emotionally, physically and psychologically been through the wringer with your surgery and all the drugs that you have been given. It will take a little while to get your hormones in balance again. You are very early in your recovery.

In the meantime, do special little things for yourself. .. you know, use the good china for a grilled cheese sandwich or cup of tea/coffee, give yourself a facial, have someone special give you a back massage or wax your legs, maybe a manicure? Take your special time too. You are never to busy to spend some time with yourself.

Keep smiling! Keep positive!
Start a journal. Keeping track of what triggers crying jags might help you avoid them or at least keep some control. Don't write only negative things in it. I used to write in it a few times a day, with the good and the bad.

Hope you are feeling better really soon.
