post op bleeding

I had a total hysterectomy on Jan 12. Slight spotting at first. One week later bleeding increased. I went to see my doctor and he examined me. He thinks that a hematoma is next to my bladder and my body is trying to expell it. That was Monday 1/23. Wednesday I felt like I had a urinary tract infection. Lots of pressure and frequent urination, back pain, so I had my urine tested. It came back ok. Thursday I woke feeling better. As the day passed on, I started feeling like crap again. Bleeding is increasing and I am now passing small clots of blood. Did anyone experience anything like this? Also gas pains are horrible.

Hi newbeginnings
I'm so sorry, you're having these troubles. Please let your dr know about the clots right away. You shouldn't be passing clots, usually they are one of the things drs want to be called about. Did the bleeding increase with them too? Rest, call the dr and let us know what you find out.
