Scared Silly and Moving Soon Tah/Bso 1/4

I am having a TAH/BSO on Jan 4th. We are moving this Friday 12/8. My surgery was suppose to have been 12/13 but I had to cancel becuase of this move thing and stress it has caused. I am overweight and not in the best shape. I am already being treated for panic attacks, depression and anxeity for the last 5 years. So now with this does anyone know how these things will be after I have the surgery.I have a gyn/onc doing surgery.I am post menopause with a cyst she has been watching 6 months and says it time becuase it how has a wall and I had D/C in August for polyps.The bowel prep for this is horrible and just that alone makes me worry.I have a 82 year old mom who lives with me and is totally dependant on my hubby and me. She has lekumeia and heart problems along with diabetes. How do I cope with all this and take time for this surgery and what if i have complications? To make matters worst I just have this gut feeling not to do it.

I've been treated for the same + PTSD for 8 years now. I'm actually looking forward to the surgery and feeling better. I saw my shrink yesterday and the counselor today. Both told me that to heal right that I would need to try to relax, stay calm, and(I hated this one) relinquish control. Oh, and not to push myself very hard.

I think it was very wise to put off the surgery due to the move. That added with the holidays is enough to make anyone pull their hair out. Hopefully you'll be able to get somewhat settled in your new place before your surgery. I'm sure that with them taking the cyst out, you'll feel much better than what you do now. You'll be able to help your mom out more also, without having to worry about the pain that you must feel.
