Anyone else 8 weeks out looking 8 months pregnant?

I have the same thing!!! I hate it. I am 4 weeks post op and I am in dresses or my son's jeans. Yesterday I couldn't even wear those!!! It hurts my stomach to have anything pressing on it. Even though the scales show I have lost weight, my stomach is huge (it use to be flat). I asked the doctor if it would ever go down and he said he could not tell me that, how depressing!!!

I also have kept my ovaries and this week the swelling is worse but I looked on the calendar and I would be going through pms. I looked because of how moody, witchy, depressed, I suddenly was. I am not sure if this contributes to the bloating or not. I thought having a tvh would take care of the bloating I use to get but obviously not.

Are you also gassy??? Not a very pleasant question, I know, but this seems to be a problem for me with bloating as well. I seem alot more gassy, uncomfortable, pain under ribs, bloated than before the surgery. My doc said this has nothing to do with the surgery since he didn't do anything to my bowels but I don't believe him.

I just keep hoping this will eventually go away or I'm going to have to get a whole new wardrobe

pwcreba, Yes I am gassy, bloated, and have pain under my ribs. Dr. told me the same thing about not having done anything to my bowels but I don't believe him either. Funny thing.....this is also my time of the month pre-surgery.
