surgery scheduled--what to expect?

Hi, I am now scheduled for TVAH on 3/16 and am nervous, scared, etc.
Please let me know about the 1-3rd days after surgery, what to expect, etc.

if progesterone can possibly prevent you from having major surgery, its probably worth a try. good luck with whatever you decide to do!

I say try it too, you never know, and if it doesn't work you know you've tried everything and can have a hyst. and never think "oh, I should have..."

I did try it and as usual with hormones, got the complete opposite reaction and bled for 3 weeks straight and had horrible cramps for most of it. But then, the gyno who prescribed it (only because I demanded that I be able to try it) prescribed a ***REALLY*** high dose. Which wasn't cool. I swear I think she did it on purpose just to teach me a lesson for challenging her.
But when I've tried continuous birth control I also bled continuously.

But you never know! It might work for you and you could save yourself surgery!
