What happens with ovulation discharge after hysterectomy?

Hope this question isn't too out there....
Everyone probably knows the "egg-white" type mucus discharge that usually would be evident at ovulation time....

I wondered if anyone knows...once the uterus, cervix and tubes are gone - and just the ovaries remain - is there any tell-tale sign of ovulation?

I wasn't sure if that came from the cervix or other... but I'm 8 weeks out tomorrow and am cramping and noticing more moisture in the vaginal tissues - but not the "egg-white" type discharge. I have also had 2 wicked migraines this week, and increased pelvic pain (hips/back etc.).

I wondered if I could possibly be ovulating - or even having my new version of a period?? Definitely feels like menstrual cramps - but what organ is cramping?!! Am I crazy?

I think that mucus was produced by the cervix; so no cervix - no mucus. I'm guessing the only way you'll know you're ovulating is that fun little sharp pain....

I still get the stabbing sharp pains, but also breast tenderness and swollen ankles.........that's how I know when TOM should've been here! Hope that helps. Of course, for me, it's nothing like it used to be.,

I may just be feeling some of the hormonal stuff coming back to life. I know my estrogens were very low 2 weeks ago and now I'm 8 weeks post-op so maybe ovaries are awakening.

Does anyone know if when the ovaries start up again if that usually causes some negative symptoms - joint pains, cramping etc. ?

I would think one would feel better when they get their hormones back, but maybe it's also an adjustment and a bit turbulent at the beginning?
