Tiny pink discharge

Hi ladies, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. My daVinci hysterectomy was almost 6 months ago. A few weeks ago after a very strenuous day, shoveling snow and then going food shopping, I had a very slight pink showing on the tp after urinating. Last night again--got up during the night and had very, very slight pink on the toilet paper. Anyone else experience this?

Re: Tiny pink discharge

My davinci was october 1st. The last time i had a slight pink discharge was on christmas day, after a full day of family and big dinner preparations. Nothing since. I did call my gyn/oncologist who said as long as it wasnt a flow and i wasnt using a pad, he suspected it was the final sutures at the cuff dissolving. He said nothing to worry about.
Just an opinion,,,maybe you should call your doctor and mention it to him. Better to be safe.

Re: Tiny pink discharge

I have a similar situation, but I would not call it a discharge because it only happens when I pee. Almost not there pink color after I am very active, other times it is not there. I have no pain, and no uti, though I do have high wbc count in urinalysis but no bacteria. It makes me hesitant to workout, which I miss. I had no complications from my davinci at all, and this only developed after 6 weeks (once I was cleared to be more active!)

Re: Tiny pink discharge

Mine really isn't a discharge also. Just after urinating and wiping that I saw this and, as I said, the first time was after shoveling (which I probably shouldn't have done!) and then last night. I also did have an abrasion in the vagina that the doctors caused during my surgery and I still feel this abrasion after almost 6 months. Keep putting vaseline on it--hoping it'll go away permanently!

Re: Tiny pink discharge

FYI, I just left the drs office where he removed a polyp off of my internal sutures. After he removed it he painted the area with Silver Nitrate. Surprisingly this did not hurt at all. He said this sometimes happens, and I need to go back in 2 weeks for a recheck. Taking Cipro for a possible UTI. Just thought I would pass on my experience

Re: Tiny pink discharge

Oh my goodness!! I forgot to mention that I was treated with silver nitrate at the very end of my surgery because when the organs were "delivered" vaginally, the doctor caused an abrasion in the vagina. Which I still feel 6 months after!! Anyhow--I'm hoping this is 2 isolated incidents and won't happen again. If it does, I'm off to the doctor's office......
