Tingling sensations post-op?

Any one feeling any tingling sensations? I have this feeling that comes and goes on my left side by my leg. Thanks for any feedback. This sounds crazy, but it feels real!!

Tingling sensations post-op?

If it feels like pins and needles it's probably nerve regeneration.

Tingling sensations post-op?

Twina-

I had TAH w/LSO on January 29th. I allowed my anesthetist to insert pain meds via spinal. During my first two days post op my left leg was numb. The feeling came back over the next several days and I was left with twinges several days after that.

Hopefully this will pass for you too. Hang in there and good luck on your recovery!

Tingling

Hello!

My only tingling has been near my incision area during the 3rd week post-op. I started getting tingling stabbing pains and was told that those were due to my nerves healing and that I would be very aware of my lower abdomen over the 6 weeks of recovery. That advice was very true! Hope you are doing better!

Tingling sensations post-op?

I had mine last Wed. I feel fine but my right leg will go numb and start tingling and it hurts. I was scared there was somthing wrong with me, but I guess that is all part of the surgery. Thanks for all the insight.

Tingling sensations post-op?

I did have stabbing pain right at my belly button incision with a dulling sensation to the right on another incision. The doctor thinks I've pulled a muscle, so now I can't lift ANYTHING for a few weeks! I was feeling better until then.

Just all take it EASY! No matter how you're beginning to feel!

Tingling sensations post-op?

Twina -

since you had an LAVH I would say it's nerve regeneration from the way that have to position your legs and use different instruments. I had spots on both my upper thighs as big as my hands and going across the front of my private parts. I am closing in on 14 weeks out and have about 2 palm size areas where I can still feel it but nowhere near where it was right after surgery (even underwear caused extreme pain). My dr said 9 to 12 weeks and I've read posts here where it can take longer.

Thanks! I was beginning to feel that maybe I was imagining it! Now it makes sense. At least I know I'm not CRAZY!

My left thigh is still tingly. I thought that it would have gone away by now but no such luck. From what I have heard and read, it could take awhile to go away totally.
