Love Making
Hello, it's me again. I have a question and at first I thought it was a silly question, but no question is silly on this website. I have my TAH surgery on July 1 and I'm a little scared, but I'm ready for the pain to go away. I have two enlarged fibroids and several small ones. The large ones seem to bother me during sex. I can do a certain position at one time (and everything would be fine), but the next time we make love that same postion from the last time, no longer works for me. I'm sure I'm confussing you. It seems like the fibroids are moving around. That's the question, is it possible for them to move around inside you? It really hurts when the fibriods is touched during sex. I had an ulta sound in February, that's when we found out how worse the fibroids had gotten. At that time they were the size of a tennis ball. Is it possible for them to have grown larger since February.
Thanks

I had my TAH/BSO March 24th, i also had a fibroid that was only 6cms in october and when i had my surgery on the 24th, it had grown to the size of a 3 month pregnancy so i guess there is a chance that they grow that quickly. I was just released back to normal on May 1st, i thought i would never have normal "sex" again because of all the pain and discomfort, but since the surgery, it has gotten better and better. I hope this hopes.

Hi Faye,
That's an interesting question, whether fibroids change position, I wouldn't think so, but maybe they are so large, that even when you change position, they are being hit during intercourse anyway. Also, if you have any endometriosis (you didn't mention if you did have endo or not), this can cause pain during sex as well. Hope all your problems are gone after your surgery. Good luck to you, s
