Back Home after 5-5-03 hyster...

The fear was the worst. The staff was great, the anesthesiologist was awesome, the gas and other pain is/was not unbearable. I had a TVH and am very glad I did. On my way to recovery.

Welcome home, Princess Mary! You have a great attitude and yes, the best is yet to come! Keep in mind, as I've learned from other HS, that this is your one shot at recovery, make it good---and "rest" may be a four-letter word, but it's your road to future fun and freedom.

I'm in week 5 and walking a mile a day, not fast, but steady. I've had an uncomplicated recovery (besides the ole constipation).

Be sure to check out (when you can sit long enough to read the thread) the "A reason to smile". you can search for it. It'll make your day and encourage you!
