Burning sensation????

It's been 5 days since my surg. and this burning sensation is getting worse!!!! Today has been bad. Every time I get up I have it and it won't go away. It hurts really bad!!!
It's just below my staples in one spot. I go to see the doc tomorrow. Have any of you experienced this before?

Burning sensation????

Hi Gia,

I'm glad you are going to see the doc tomorrow because I think your doc should look at it. I had lots of burning afterward, but I started out doing a little to much and had to learn patience.

Remember to rest and relax. If it's not an infection, it just might be irritation - remember i'm not a doctor!

Let us know what the doc says

Big

Went for my 1 wk ck up today.

Hello again. I went in for my 1 wk post op check up today. The burning sensation I was having was better today ( of course ) but I did mention it and the Dr. said that it was nerve damage but that it would heal, sometimes it can take up to 6 months to completely heal.
My staples were removed and that felt good to have them gone.
Said my swelling should be completely gone in another couple of weeks. I have been feeling really good but today I think I acually had brain fog. I've been feeling really good, doing good with the Premarin. Today I've just felt really odd, alittle "off". lol
Not sure if that's what you call brain fog or not but it sounds good to me and my family thought it was funny. lol
