Hi Ladies.

I've put up the link to the Weight Watchers site in case anyone wants to subscribe to their newsletter.
I suppose many of us already receive it, but for those who do not but may like to...I get it & there's often something helpful/fun/interesting there.

For instance, today's has a whittled down version of cesaer salad that sounds good.
THere's also talk about walking & gardening for exercise, smoothie recipes...it's a nice one to get, I think.

Any ammo we can get in this battle, right?

You know what drives me crazy about the WW web site - you have to subscribe (MONEY) to access a lot of it! The last newsletter I got bragged of a 'great new tool' for weighing yourself in once a week....but you have to be a pay for it. I am mostly speaking of the eTools portion of the site. Where they entice you by saying:

"Now currently active Meetings Members can enjoy the winning combination of meetings, plus the Web’s best weight loss tools"

Wouldn't you think that if you attend WW meetings that you would have access to this? - Nope...sorry have to fork out more money to do this.

I am a Lifetime Member and think that we who have paid money to use the program (online or not) should have access to this. I forked out a lot of dough throughout my weightloss and don't think that I should have to pay more to use the online tools. This should be a right if you are an up to date member.

Just had to rant for a second....forgive me.

I have to agree with the person who mention she was mad because you have to pay more money to acess the e-tool. I would use that that alot but I am not going to pay more money for it. I pay enough for the meetings, food etc.

I also feel the same way and have mentioned it at my meetings. They say it's because it's two seperate companies. Just like the WW's food sold in the stores are NOT the same company. Because of the name "WW" they have to use the points system in calculating the food in the container. But it's an entirely different manufacturer than the "plan" we attend. Who knows - I have no idea if my meeting leader knows of which he speaks, lol.

I just know I refuse to pay to belong to the on-line site. BUT Xena - thank's for providing the link - for the portion that we can get for free. ;-)
