Micro fibroids...

Hi all~

I had my TVH on May 27th and the pathology came back that I had micro- fibroids. Yes, it did have an "official" name but I am calling it the shortened version.

Has anyone heard of this? I did a search but I can't find any information on this. Even my doctor said she had never heard of it before.

I had that sort of term used on my about a year ago when I went in for my mamogram. When I asked the doc about it, she decribed it as small fibroids grouped together. She said it would make it harder to detect if I had a malignant tumor or not.

Other than that, I haven't heard that sort of term. Maybe some of the other sisters here have
