incicion, "Size dosen't matter "

Morning

my cut is 8 inch or so, and it is bikini line as well.... i unfortunatly had a fluid build up and was getting sick from it, so when it opened up a bit, just a 1/4 inch or less, it was a blessing, it started to drain,, and drain, and drain, and drain..... it stopped and closed up two days ago...... the min. it started to drain, fever went away and infection stopped.... the staples are very sucure. my incicion will not heal up as well as the first one i had.. because he cut the orignal scar and this time it dosen't look as good... but that is okay... it is only a scar .... and it will heal nicely,, the main thing is that we are all health weathly and wise... okay i am wise....lol

Hi Dawna

Sounds like you're doing ok now that the incision drained. One thing I think you should do: please let your doc know what happened just in case he/she wants to put you on meds for an infection.

I already have. i was back to emergency that week on a tuesday and then back to my doc. on the thursday... and back to my heart specialist this past monday.... So i have kepted a few doctors employed here in British Coulumbia Our mega tax dollars at work... but thank you so much for you concern....everything is coming around and i should be back at work by mid aug. my little set back has but my recovery back a bit...... but i am not complaining this is the first time i have had the summer off since school , and we will not go there to find out how long ago THAT was....lol seriouly,,, very proud to be over 40ty,,, it just get better and better...
