In Riverdale, Maryland

I live in Riverdale, Maryland and am scheduled for a LAVH on 6/27/03. I am very nervous and trying to handle everything. I was wondering if anyone is about to have the same?

hello, i am in baltimore. i had a (tah) on 4-09-03. my surgery is a diffrent procedure. but i was scared to. it was not as bad as i thought it would be (with the help of meds). i am 8 weeks post surgery now. still not in shape yet but i am not pushing it. don't worry yourself to death. these surgeries are routine now. i had major pain for about two weeks. with the help of pain meds i slept alot. each day feeling a little better. still feel it now and then. you will be tired alot in the first few weeks. other than that just take it easy, listen to your body and doctor and you will be ok . i wish you luck and a quick uncomplicated recovery. let me know how things go.
