Is it in the water??

I live in a small town and work in the only store in this town just outside of g'ville. Needless to say I know everyone! I know of 4 women that had hysters before me within 6 months and 3 after me. I have warned the men not to drink the water for the fear of them waking up snorfledoodled like we do!!!!!! Lots of Laughing from here! They look at me like I am crazy? It's not crazy talk to tell a woman that they are getting snorfledoodled, is it? I wonder if it is the water even though most of these women have moved here from other places. I and like 2 others grew up here and have had our hysters done at an early age. Of course we all had different reasons for having them I am just jabbering. Sorry for annoying ya'll!! That's Texas talk ha hah!!!

Is it in the water??

Hey Freak -

smundled? Sounds like something you might do to livestock? LOL

...and BTW, I love the Texan talk - it's just about the only state I can visit, and I don't have people ask me where I'm from (with my north FL drawl)? hehe

- as for the conspiracy "in the water" theory - the area that I'm from is agricultural. A local county is having some research and testing done. Seems that people used to "dip" the cattle in some sort of pesticide. The baths were dug in the ground and concreted - but cancer rate in a particular area was abnormally high. ...they are checking to see if there is a correlation. I wonder what kind of records are kept to root out areas that have a high cancer or rate or have abnormally high numbers of hysterectomy in a given area? Certainly SOMEONE is somewhere? I did read a statistic somewhere that said the more women in the south have more hysterectomys??? Think I'll ask my doc about that one.

Is it in the water??

That is interesting ya know about 30 miles from where I live there is this dairy farm in trouble for just making piles and piles of dead cattle into a creek. And ya know that when it rains that water from the cattle soaks into the ground. Plus as you know Texas is a big oil and natural gas state and my husband used to work for an oil tycoon on a cattle ranch that also had oil wells on it. They were always leaking and you can drive down the road and see crews cleaning up spills and leaks. But on the other hand here in the south we also have good ole home cooking with grease and starches. Even the slim people get their share of the stuff. I just hope that by the time my girls get old enough to start their womanly journeys that the world will have more understanding and sympathy for us and that there will be better alternatives. I bawl when I think about the thought of not having grandbabies due this wretched disease (endometriosis) the research that I did on it says they do not know if it is in the genes. I had my kids young and I would like my girls to wait. If I tell them that if I had waited I they would not exist then I am afraid that they will feel pushed but on the other hand if I don't tell them and at 25 they end up in hysters like me but without having a chance to have kids what kind of mother am I? I hate this, I know I years to think about this but it comes sooner than you see it coming. Especially since the oldest is already 5. I am still stunned by this whole hyster thing, it happened so quick that it is still tryin to soak in.
Thanks for listening I just don't know how to talk like this with my hubbie. And yall are such good listeners!!!!!!

The name was a "Freak" thing I tried something different but it was already taken so I had to go with something outstanding. It kinda fits bacause I sometimes "freak" out over small things. ha ha hah Just ask my husband about not replacing trashcan liners.
He was a duckin and a runin. Then he made an excuse to go out to the barn for awhile. hehehehehehehehe Then me and the kids played games while he was gone!!!

Loved the natural gas tycoon bit...I was actually thinking you were really rich, then I saw the smilies and hurt my tummy laughing!

I guess I could join you in the gas business. There was a large gas dragon in Spokane in the first week after my surgery! Thank goodness that has mostly passed over, no pun intended!

Keep up the laughter, it helps the healing process
