panic attacks

Hi. Im 6wks post op and for the last 3 weeks i have been having panic attacks. I had full hyst. and started HRT low dosage right away. I am 38 and have just had my HRT put up has anyone else experienced this. I feel paniky all the time.
i have also just started to get really bloated and feel as though I want to go to the toilet all the time.
Please help

I've had panic attacks in my past. As a matter of fact, I have PTSD.

I haven't had any big attacks since my hyst. I did notice that my patch wasn't lasting and seemed to be failing on me. I called in for a increase in my dose and started freaking out when it took three days for the DR's office to call in the right script. I won't go into the gory details but it came to a head with me screaming at the DR's answering machine then collapsing into my husband's arms for a long crying jag. They finally called back and offered me samples until my pharmacist could get the supply in stock. Hubby QUICKLY ran to the DR's office to pick-up the sample!

I'm feeling MUCH better now. I hope the increase in dose works for you. In the meantime, I'd talk to your doctor about your other symptoms. I noticed when I had less estrogen I tended to have more frequent BM's. When I have more estrogen my body immediately starts getting rid of excess water. However, an increase of estrogen CAN cause water retention so a DR may have to help you find a balance.

For me is the same!
I'm 7 weeks post op (TAH) and panic attacks started 2 weeks ago when I tried to drive for the first time after the operation.
Now I have panic attacks once or twice a day and I'm afraid of driving and of going out alone.
Am I going crazy?
Husband, relatives and friends don't believe me and I feel upset.

Sorry for mistakes, I live in Switzerland and learnt English at school many years ago.
