Been getting my life back

I just wanted to update everyone. I have been offline for awhile now in and out of the hosp.

Well after 31 in patient hosp days with 6 visits to the castle I am finally on my way to recovery. We had the hysterectomy. Then infection inside. Then a pulmonary embolism. Then another infection and then surgery to open my belly and let it heal shut so another infection closes and then sepsis from the central line. In that mess I had C difficile colitis.

Now I have something going on with my bowels that when I go (once a week) I have the runs all day and it is bloody and full of mucous. I am having to switch DR due to legal proceddings so this is all a pain. Anyone know what could be causing that??

All in all I am scarred up but my spirit is back. Benn taking long weekends with the kids and go camping. Back to running my business and just plain living again. Hope everyone is well. I have missed chatting. Computer time though just had not been a priority. Healing inside and out was and is. I am going back and reading some.

Been getting my life back

This must seem like a never ending nightmare.

You say you have to change DR because of legal proceedings. Are those against your DR? It sounds like you may do better with someone else?!!

Let us know how you are doing. And feel free to vent, too.

btw- I thought, from the title, that you were going to say how all was going so well. Hope it will be soon!

Been getting my life back

I have no great words of wisdom, just felt for you that you had and are having a tough time. Wishing you a steady recovery from this point on I agree that if you can even stand going to another have the bowel problem checked out. Stay positive. amoeba
