First time sex (scary)

Hi Ladies,
My Dr. released me for sex at 5 weeks, so at 5 weeks thats what we did. It was really scary, I did not bleed at all but was scared to death, my poor DH was so careful not to hurt me he kept asking me if I was alright. My question is if any of you out there have resumed sex at 5 weeks and if you experienced the same thing and if it will get better?
Thanks for your input.

First time sex (scary)

Well I cheated and we had sex at 4 weeks I couldnt wait any longer neither could he and I am feeling great! It was scary and we didnt go for deep penetration as I know that would been a No No, We are just taking it slow and easy and Im not about to tell the doc that I have or he will kill me!
I think that as time goes by we will be back to our normal All out sex once again and I cant wait for that But I too didnt have any spotting or anything after and I can say that my "o" are different than before but not in a bad way either Still just as great!

Things will progress well for you just take it slow and your body will tell you if there is a problem I would think

Take Care

***Admin. Note: Hystersisters does not advise going against discharge instructions of *nothing in vagina for 6 weeks or until cleared by doctor*. Possible consequences include tearing stitches and/or infection.***

(((((Welly)))))))),

It will get better as you are able to relax knowing you won't damage anything.

I am glad you waited for the clearance from your dr.

Had you not waited like tx you risked infection and damage to your healing. Nothing in the vagina means NOTHING AT ALL , not just no deep penetration , it means nothing at all no matter how deep, until the Dr. clears you.

I am proud of you Welly.

Best wishes,

Pamcat

My first experience at 6 weeks post op was a lot like yours, plus I did bleed. There has been a lot of improvement in 3 weeks.

I think the nerves of the first time back are just something we have to get through. You have gone over that first hurdle and no bleeding. I am sure it will only get better. Good luck.

Won't know for 1 1/2 more weeks. Hubby and I did try "outercourse " and it was great. Everything still works. When I went for my 3 week checkup my doctor cleared me for everything but sex. He didn't say it that way though. He said I was Ok for everything except "Honey" but I knew exactly what he meant. Even though it's killing us to wait 1 1/2 more weeks I don't want to rip something and then have to tell my doctor it's because of "Honey". LOL!!!!!!!!
